ಡಾ. ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ನೇತ್ರ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ, ನಾರಾಯಣ ನೇತ್ರಾಲಯವು 29ನೇ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2021ರಂದು ಹೊಸ ನೇತ್ರದಾನ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು.

ನಾರಾಯಣ ನೇತ್ರಾಲಯ ಐ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕ ಎರಡು ನೇತ್ರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ – ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ರಾಜ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಐ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಂಕರ್ ಆನಂದ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಐ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್.

Narayana Nethralaya Eye Foundation has two of the most productive and largest eye banks in the state – Dr. Rajkumar Eye Bank at Narayana Nethralaya, Rajajinagar, and Shankar Anand Singh Eye Bank at Narayana Nethralaya, Bommasandra, Bangalore.

Individuals wishing to register as eye donors can do so easily by giving a missed call to +91-8884018800. Click the link in the received message, fill out the eye donation pledge form with your details, and submit it. Download the Eye Donation Pledge Certificate, recognizing you as a Sight Ambassador.

Instructions for Eye Donation

Dial the Eye Bank (+91-9741685555, +91-80-66121641) within 6 hours of death.
Close the donor's eyes and place a wet cotton swab on the closed eyes.
Switch off the fans and keep the air-conditioner or cooler on.
Raise the head with the help of a pillow.
